Pumpkin Splatter

Today is a foggy and cold October day; Halloween is two days from now. A plethora of pumpkins are lining up outside our front door…those poor misshapen pumpkins that have been decimated by the under achieving permanent black ink pen splatter wars. Last year I had a pumpkin, with a big fat head named Piper and I wrote, “I am a pumpkin” in permanent black ink on his face. Sometimes it’s good just to give up on your pumpkin ahead of time and go back to trying to mark up your own face.
